Growth of daily TV consumption in coronavirus outbreak in China 2020, by age group
As of March 2020, Chinese consumers spent about 150 minutes on average watching TV every day, showing an 18 percent increase compared to the average figure of the previous year. To curb the spread of coronavirus COVID-19, the Chinese government imposed a lockdown in the epicenter Wuhan city from late January, 2020, and later expanded the measure across the country. Most of the Chinese people stayed at home all day long for more than one month until the nationwide lockdown was eased.
