Argentina: growth in TV viewers due to COVID-19
First case of a person infected with the novel coronavirus in Argentina was reported on March 3, 2020. One day earlier, on March 2, 2020, 6.13 million inhabitants of the metropolitan region of Buenos Aires watched TV. Approximately two weeks and 78 reported cases later, on March 17, 2020, the number of viewers increased to 6.32 million. In 2018, the region had nearly 15 million inhabitants.
