Sweden: online Christmas shopping to avoid crowds 2020-2021
Towards the end of 2021, roughly 12 percent of Swedish shoppers aged 18 to 29 years old who had shopped online in the last month preferred to do so in order to avoid crowds in physical stores. This represented a year-on-year decrease within that age bracket, with 17 percent of such shoppers choosing e-commerce for that reason in the previous year.
