Where do you expect to buy most of your holiday gifts this year?

Holiday shopping locations for U.S. consumers 2017 The statistic depicts the results of a survey in which U.S. consumers were asked where they expected to buy most of their holiday gifts in 2017. The survey revealed that 39 percent of respondents plan to do most of their holiday shopping on an online or mobile marketplace. When it came to shopping on Black Friday in particular, only 9 percent of respondents said they planned to do their shopping entirely online, the majority saying they would at least shop equally online and in-store.
The most import reason consumers would consider purchasing from a particular retailer is that the retailer had the product they wanted in stock and ready to ship.
