According to a survey carried out in Italy in 2021, over 84 percent of online shoppers purchased accessories online, with almost six out of ten respondents still buying through a website. In turn, only 15.7 percent of surveyed Italian people bought accessories in stores. The highest usage rate of mobile apps was reported for shoppers of clothing items (26.2 percent).
