TV ads perception and attitudes among U.S. adults 2021
According to a survey conducted among U.S. adults in October 2021, 82 percent of respondents said they would prefer to watch ads before a show rather than during the show. More than eight out of 10 respondents also said they multitasked - for example, checked their phone or channel surfed - during commercial breaks. Among respondents who were streaming device users, 88 percent of them said they often came across the same ad or ads when watching a show on a streaming platform.
