This marked an increase from the previous year's value of 19.04 million dollars, and an approach towards the 2018/19 - pre-COVID-19 value - of 20.76 million. In 2020, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, upfront TV ad spend fell to 19 million dollars, from the originally sold inventory worth 21.87 million dollars.
