During a 2023 survey carried out among retail media network buyers in the United States, 52 percent of respondents said that they invested retail media network advertising because it gave them the ability to leverage retailer's first-party data. The most commonly named reason was the ability to reach new/incremental audiences, mentioned by 55 percent of respondents.
