A survey conducted in October 2022 on video-based media consumption in India revealed that over 80 percent of OTT viewers choose what to watch after researching the content online. Overall, 60 percent of the respondents conducted research across verticals including movies and linear TV to gain insights into the content that they wanted to watch in 2022.
