As of May 2023, over half (or 54 percent) of WhatsApp users surveyed in Brazil reported having bought products through the app more than once. More than one-third (35 percent) said they have never done it, while 11 percent stated they did it once. Data from the third quarter of 2022 showed that over 93 percent of internet users in Brazil used WhatsApp every month.
