According to a survey conducted in late December 2023, some 60 percent of U.S. consumers aged 18 to 24 said they planned to return or had already returned gifts they had received during that year's holiday season. In stark contrast, only just over 10 percent of respondents over the age of 54 had done so/planned to do the same.
