Ad agencies - doing business

It is reported that the ad agencies in the United States have been generating a little over eight billion dollars in media buying services each year between 2016 and 2018. However, in 2019, this figure dropped below the eight-billion mark. In the stretch of time, integrated advertising services revenue has been constantly growing for ad agencies, with the 2019 results surpassing 27 billion U.S. dollars. Yet, 2020 brought the coronavirus outbreak, and with it, difficulties in obtaining new business. Many agency professionals experienced hardship in attracting clients that year. Luckily the situation improved in 2021, and new business was easier to come by. In fact, more than half of responding agency executives believed that the opportunities for expanding the client portfolio had increased that year. It is safe to assume that the ad agencies are back on track and ready to pick up where they left off pre-covid.
