Coronavirus: grocery delivery & pickup orders in the U.S. 2019-2020

Orders for grocery delivery and pickup in the United States have surged in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. In August 2019, there were 16.1 million orders and this figure grew to 46.9 million in March of 2020, a 192 percent increase. Orders grew by another 81 percent from March to June before dropping to 69.5 million orders in August.
