U.S. viewer awareness and familiarity with new streaming services 2022
Based on a February 2022 survey among U.S. television viewers, awareness of the newer, second-tier streaming services Peacock, Paramount+, Discovery+, Apple TV+, ESPN+, and AMC+ was relatively high across the board. Consumer familiarity with these services was much lower, with less than half of consumers expressing familiarity with most of the platforms. Peacock was the only streaming service which was familiar to slightly over half of U.S. television viewers.
