In-store vs. online holiday shopping plans in the U.S. 2021, by vaccination status
A September 2021 survey revealed that unvaccinated U.S. consumers were more likely to engage in physical shopping during Black Friday and Cyber Weekend that year than those vaccinated. When asked about their shopping plans during this period, 27 percent of unvaccinated shoppers said they shopped exclusively or primarily in physical stores, versus 19 percent of vaccinated shoppers.
