In March 2023, social video app TikTok reported 150 million monthly active users in the United States, representing a 50 percent growth compared to the previously reported figure of 100 million MAU in August 2020. The latest MAU figure, which was released by the company ahead of its CEO being questioned by the U.S. Congress at the end of March 2023, showcases the popularity increase experienced by TikTok in the United States in the last years.
