In 2018, free TV accounted for 43.1 percent of the total ad spend in Chile and was by far the strongest ad medium. Newspapers ranked second with over 22 percent, followed by outdoor with nearly 13 percent. That year, total ad spend in Chile amounted to 618.04 million U.S. dollars.
