Average gender pay difference in banks 2021

Among the leading banks in the United Kingdom, women employed at Barclays had the highest mean hourly rate for every one British pound earned by men as of April 2021, which was around 76 pence and a high increase compared to the previous year when this amount was only 58 pence. The worst mean hourly rate for every one British pound earned by men was of HSBC, which was only 50 pence.

The figures represent the mean amount earned by female employees on an hourly rate for every one British pound earned by male employees.
