Among the leading banks in the United Kingdom (UK), Barclays Bank plc had the highest distribution of women in the top pay quartile in 2022, with 43 percent. Santander UK plc followed, with 40.3 percent of female workers among its highest-paid employees. None of the banks included had a higher share of women in the top pay quartile than men in 2022.
