Number of medical tourists in South Korea in 2018, by province

In 2018, around 245.5 thousand medical tourists visited hospitals and clinics in Seoul. The capital city saw the highest amount of foreign patients, followed by the province of Gyeonggi and the nearby city of Incheon. Overall, there were around 379 thousand medical tourists in South Korea that year.
