Top attributes sought in cybersecurity professionals worldwide 2023 vs 2022

The most sought skill among cybersecurity professionals in 2023 was being curious and eager to learn, as highlighted by nearly 40 percent of respondents. At the same time, 38 percent of respondents considered strong communication skills to be a sought attribute, a five-point increase compared to 2022. On the other hand, only 20 percent of respondents considered extensive cybersecurity work experience to be an important qualification for cybersecurity professionals in 2023.
