Perceived creepiness of targeted linear TV ads in the U.S. 2021, by gender
According to a survey among adults in the United States in September 2021, 13 percent of female and 21 percent of male respondents said they found targeted ads on linear TV (cable and broadcast) to be very creepy. Targeted linear TV ads were found to be not creepy at all by 26 percent of female and 18 percent of male respondents.
