According to a survey conducted in the United States in 2022, email marketing is still the most effective online marketing tactic. About 45 percent of e-shoppers are influenced by general e-mails from online retailers, as e-mail marketing keeps the consumer in shopping mode and the communication active. Another successful marketing strategy is receiving catalogs and printed material via mail. It greatly affected consumers' online buying behavior, over four of ten survey respondents reported purchasing because of this marketing material.
