Number of TV households in the U.S. 2023-2027, by type
Estimates showed that by the end of 2023, the number of pay TV households in the U.S. would amount to 66 million. By comparison, the number of broadband-only households is forecast to be 41 million, and the number of over-the-air TV households is estimated to be even lower. However, while the broadband-only and over-the-air household count will probably increase between 2023 and 2027, pay TV households will decline by five percent.
