In 2021, the expenditure on digital static display advertising of the finance category in the Netherlands increased significantly by 181.1 million U.S. dollars (117.01 percent) compared to 2020. With 335.83 million U.S. dollars, the advertising spending thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. Notably, the advertising spending continuously increased over the last years.
