Sullom Voe port outward sea freight in the United Kingdom (UK) 2000-2018

This statistic shows the volume of sea freight departing from Sullom Voe port between 2000 and 2018. Sullom Voe is a key petroleum and gas terminal in the Shetland Islands and so the high outward tonnage for the port is mainly due to the constant fuel output. However, output had noticeably declined in the period of consideration. In 2018, 5.3 million metric tons of freight left this port, almost half of what was recorded in 2009. The highest outward volume was recorded in 2003, when 20.4 million metric tons departed Sullom Voe port.
