This statistic presents the share of teen cell phone users who use messaging apps as of March 2015, sorted by ethnicity. During the survey period, it was found that 46 percent of Hispanic teen cell phone users accessed chat apps such as WhatsApp or Kik on their phones. Overall, 33 percent of teen mobile users used mobile messenger apps on their cell phones.
