During the survey, 26 percent of responding marketers stated their brands produced entertaining content to achieve this goal. A survey found that 63 percent of small and medium sized enterprises in the United States had social media profiles and another 10 percent were planning to get one. Social media advertising was implemented by 37 percent of U.S. SMEs and another 28 percent of surveyed companies were planning to starting using it.
