Telecommunications industry employment in Costa Rica 2012-2021
After growing between 2012 and 2017, the number of people employed in Costa Rica's telecommunications industry has fluctuated in more recent years. In 2021, the sector employed around 10,845 people, a slight decrease from nearly 11,000 recorded a year earlier. Additionally, the telecommunications revenue has recently declined in the Central American country.
