Search ad spend in the Netherlands 2012-2023

As of 2018, spending on both wired and mobile internet advertising had increased since 2012. Annual spending on wired internet advertising remained consistently higher. In 2018, the annual expenditure on paid search wired internet advertising in the Netherlands was over 640 million euros and this figure was expected to grow to roughly 670 million euros by 2021. Although annual spending on paid search mobile internet advertising remained lower, the spending dedicated to this form of advertising increased between 2012 and 2017 and was forecast to continue to do so.
