Distribution of consumer durables ad expenditure in India 2019 by channel

Digital media advertising accounted for around 36 percent of the advertising spend by the consumer durables industry in 2019, compared to just about 19 percent in the previous year. Television advertisements had a 24 percent share, while out-of-home media held 16 percent share that year. Notably, the print media ad share went down to 14 percent in 2019, when it had the highest share at 34 percent in the previous year.
