Number of doctors in Cuba 2012-2020
In 2020, more than 103 thousand physicians worked in Cuba, up from over 97 thousand doctors registered a year earlier. The number of physicians practicing in the Caribbean nation has been increasing since 2012, when the number of registered doctors amounted to approximately 82 thousand. In 2020, over 16 thousand men died due to heart disease in the country.
