Poland: number of shared mobility users 2016-2026

In 2020, the revenue of the shared mobility market in Poland decreased significantly compared the previous years, most likely due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent restrictions. In this year, 600 thousand people less than 2019 used shared mobility services. The Statista Mobility Market Outlook estimates that user numbers will increase again and by 2026 reach over ten million.

Having a professional driver in the vehicle is the main difference between the services that we cover in the Shared Rides and in the Shared Vehicles segments. Services that belong to our Shared Rides segment always involve a driver who picks up and takes the passengers to a predefined location, while the segment Shared Vehicles is about services that involve vehicles that users can drive themselves. Currently, we cover ride-hailing & taxi services in the Shared Rides segment, while the Shared Vehicles segment contains bike-sharing, car-sharing, and car rentals.
