According to Asia Pacific residents, the three leading key actions to improve the living environment in smart cities were improving the balance of land use (42 percent), encouraging recycling and efficient energy use (40 percent) and updating or renovating ageing buildings and redeveloping underused land (38 percent). The latter issue was most important for Hong Kong residents.
