Advantages of the Agriculture and Food Law for farm animals France 2019

In November 2018, the French government enacted the Agriculture and Food Law, which puts forward three objectives: to pay the producers a fair price, so that they can live with dignity from their work, to strengthen the health, environmental and nutritional quality of products, and to promote healthy, safe and sustainable food for all.
A reduction of stress and anxiety in animals is cited by 76 percent of French farmers as a benefit of this new legislation.
