Number of students from East Africa in Egypt 2016, by country
As of 2016, students coming from East Africa to study in Egypt amounted to 860. Of these, just over a quarter originated from Somalia, while around another quarter were from Comoros with just two students less. Uganda and Tanzania followed with 100 students and 78 students, respectively. On the other hand, Mozambique had only three students studying in Egypt.
