Number of kindergartens in Romania 2010-2022
According to the data, the school year 2016/2017 was considered to be the year with the lowest number of kindergartens in Romania in the past decade, amounting to 1,138 units. The number of educational units for children were recorded to be the highest in 2010/2011, reaching 1,498 units. In the school year 2021/2022, the number of kindergartens and nurseries increased to 1,200.
