Number of advertisers and brands on TV in Russia 2022
The number of television advertisers in Russia fell from 286 in April 2021 to 197 in April 2022. Dozens of international advertisers, such as Nestlé, PepsiCo, and Procter and Gamble, suspended marketing activities in the country over its invasion of Ukraine that began in February 2022. The total number of brands present on Russian TV decreased to 381 in April 2022.
