Moderating alcohol consumption in the United Kingdom 2016 The survey represents the percentages of people who state that they are trying to moderate their alcohol consumption in the United Kingdom in 2016. In the age group 25-34, 55 percent of people state that they are trying to moderate their alcohol consumption. 51 percent claim so in the age group 35-44. Nearly half of the younger population, aged 16 to 24 try to do so. Only 29 percent of the older age group of 55+ say that they try to moderate their alcohol.
