The Canary Islands were the most important market for hotel projects in Spain in 2023. In total, over 1.2 billion euros were invested in the autonomous community's hotel market that year, which is nearly 380 hundred million euros more than the capital invested in hotel projects in Balearic Islands – the second market on the list.
