Colombia: unemployment rate 2018, by gender & highest degree

Unemployment rate for women in Colombia was generally higher compared to that of men with the same level of education and/or degree. In 2018, women with upper secondary education had an unemployment rate of 15.8 percent, whereas unemployment among men having achieved the same educational level was at 9.5 percent. Even women with a graduate degree were more likely to be unemployed than men.
