Penetration rate of pre-paid mobile connections in Benelux 2017-2020, by country
As of 2020, the Netherlands had the lowest penetration rate of pre-paid mobile connections in the Benelux region. In 2020, roughly 15 percent of mobile connections in the Netherlands were pre-paid, whereas the penetration rate of pre-paid mobile connections in both Belgium and Luxembourg amounted to 17 and 35 percent respectively. Overall, the percentage of mobile connections which are pre-paid decreased throughout the Benelux region between 2017 and 2020.
