This statistic depicts the result of a survey on oncologists’ opinion about scarcity of resources to treat cancer patients in Italy in 2018. More specifically, the physicians were asked whether they have ever had to choose to postpone a therapeutic treatment to the following year due to lack of budget, or not. According to survey data, 59 percent of respondents declared they have had to make that call sometimes during their career, while only ten percent of them stated to have been rarely in that situation.
