Perception of Spaniards of the 2020 holiday flexibility due to coronavirus pandemic
The health crisis caused by the outbreak of the coronavirus in the world in January 2020 made Spaniards aware that some holiday plans may potentially fall through. This might be the reason why, according to the latest surveys, most Spaniards would be willing to pay more to be able to make cancellations or amendments if their trip does not go according to plans. Among them, 16 percent stated they would certainly pay more to secure this right in future bookings. In contrast, only 33 percent of the surveyed population said they would not be willing to pay extra to make travel amendments.
