El Salvador: outbound tourism spending 2010-2019, by category
According to UNWTO data, Salvadorian tourists traveling abroad in 2019 spent an estimated 537 million U.S. dollars visiting their destinations. This is the highest value reported that decade and represents an increase of 120 percent in comparison to the country's lowest outbound tourism expenditure, which was recorded in 2011.
