This graph presents a ranking the leading products in which Italy ranks first in the world in terms of trade surplus in 2017 and 2018. Under the period of consideration, handbags with outer surface of leather recorded a trade surplus of almost three billion euros. Second in the ranking came machinery and apparatus for packing and/or packaging of goods, with a trade surplus of 2.4 billion euros.
