Household debt ratio in Denmark Q4 2012-Q3 2022
In Denmark, the ratio of household indebtedness to gross disposable income in the second quarter of 2022 was slightly lower than a year ago. Nevertheless, it still was twice the size of the disposable income. This means that the debt accumulated by Danish households was over twice as big as the volume of their disposable income. This ratio has decreased since the end of 2012, when it had reached 301.8 percent. Despite this decrease, Denmark still has one of thehighest ratios of household indebtedness to gross disposable income in Europe.
