Daily time spent with free TV per child in Chile 2018-2021, by age group
In 2021, children aged between four and 12 years in Chile spent, on average, 162 minutes (or two hours and 42 minutes) per day watching free TV, up from 151 minutes (two hours and 31 minutes) a year earlier – an annual growth of seven percent. Meanwhile, the 13-17 age group's average decreased by 4.5 percent, reaching, in 2021, a figure similar to 2019's. Some of Chile's most-viewed pay TV channels in 2021 included 24 Horas and Star Channel.
