Number of road fatalities in Poland 2017-2018, by road user

The majority of fatal accidents in Poland in 2017 (1295) and 2018 (1291) concerned people traveling by passenger cars. In 2018, only the number of cyclists and mopeds fatalities had changed significantly. The number of deaths among cyclists increased by 30 percent, from 220 to 286, while among moped cyclists by 36.4 percent, from 55 to 75 in 2018.
