Impact of COVID-19 on rideshare services usage by age in the U.S. 2020

In a survey carried out among U.S. rideshare users, 71 percent of users aged between 18 and 24 stated that they stopped using rideshare services due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The COVID-19 outbreak has negatively impacted the ridesharing service economy significantly as the social distancing measures and regulations in place have made people more reluctant to use these services.
